Watch AND listen to Jim Henson: Idea Man!

Ron Howard's long awaited documentary, Jim Henson: Idea Man is streaming now on Disney+!

In anticipation for audiences to further explore the Muppet catalog, Disney+ also added the Muppet Collection banner to the home screen (it was already previously available via the search).

But that's not all. Disney Music is releasing David Fleming’s soundtrack score as well. The soundtrack is available now digitally on all music platforms.

Miss Piggy Celebrates Her 50th Birthday!

Hard to believe, but last weekend Miss Piggy celebrated her 50th Birthday. 

Miss Piggy made her television debut 50 years ago this week. Since then, she's become beloved for her romance with Kermit the Frog on "The Muppet Show" and her sense of style and stardom. 

CBS Saturday Morning's Michelle Miller sat down with Miss Piggy to talk fashion, legacy and more.

Center for Puppetry Arts "Down in Fraggle Rock Special Exhibition"!

Dance Your Cares Away at the Center for Puppetry Arts as they present a special Fraggle Rock Exhibition. 

Take a deep dive into the Fraggle Rock universe with this behind-the-scenes look into the history and making of the 1980s Henson Company classic TV show Fraggle Rock, and the 2022 version of the series Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. Classic characters from the original series including Sprocket, Red, Mokey, and the original Jr. Gorg, are joined by new characters featured in Fraggle Rock: Back to The Rock such as The Fraggle Troubadours and returning characters like The Ink Spots. Silly creatures, you won’t want to miss this one!

The exhibit opened last week and runs through November 3rd. 

Tickets for the exhibit are included with admission to the museum and can be purchased on the Center's websitewebsite. 

RIP Dabney Coleman (1932 - 2024)

Sad news as veteran character actor Dabney Coleman has died.

Coleman began his career in the film The Towering Inferno, and guest / recurring roles on That Girl, Bonanza, The Mod Squad, and The Mary Tyler More Show. 

He is best known as the boss Franklin Hart in the film 9 to 5 co-starring Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton and Jane Fonda. He played similar roles in films such as Tootsie, Dragnet, Modern Problems, and The Beverly Hillbillies. 

Coleman starred on the acclaimed but short-lived sitcom Buffalo Bill as an egotistic talk show host. He also appeared in War Games and on HBO's Boardwalk Empire. 

Of course Coleman is known to Muppet fans for playing Martin Price /Murry Plotski in The Muppets Take Manhattan.
